Ready to ship orders

Ready to ship items are shipped every Tuesday and Thursday.

Made to Order

Lead times on "made to order" items are generally 1-2 weeks before the items are shipped to the customer. Theses time fluctuate as we receive orders and these times are displayed on the home page of our website.

 

Payment

  1. Our online store accepts payment through PayPal and Stripe. Customers can use major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal balances to make purchases.

  2. Payment Processing: Once a customer places an order, payment will be processed immediately through PayPal or Stripe. Customers will receive a payment confirmation from the payment processor.

  3. Payment Disputes: If a customer disputes a payment or requests a refund, we will work with the payment processor to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our discretion.

  4. Payment Security: We take payment security very seriously and use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect customer payment information. We do not store any payment information on our servers.

  5. Payment Authorization: By making a purchase through our online store, customers authorize us to charge their selected payment method for the full amount of the purchase, including any applicable taxes and shipping fees.

  6. Payment Errors: In the event of a payment processing error, we will work with the payment processor to correct the error and ensure that the customer is charged the correct amount.

  7. Payment Verification: We may require additional verification or information from customers to process payments, such as proof of identity or a valid shipping address.

  8. Payment Processing Time: Payments are processed immediately upon purchase. However, there may be a delay in the payment processor's processing time before the payment is confirmed and processed.

  9. Payment Confirmation: Customers will receive a payment confirmation from the payment processor upon completion of the payment transaction.

  10. Payment Fraud: We reserve the right to cancel or decline any payment that we suspect may be fraudulent or suspicious. In such cases, we may require additional verification or documentation from the customer before processing the payment.

Domestic Shipping

Our online store offers flat shipping rates domestically through New Zealand post.

International shipping

  1. Shipping Methods: Our online store offers international shipping through New Zealand post.

  2. Shipping Costs: International shipping costs will vary depending on the destination country and the shipping method selected by the customer. Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling fees, including any applicable customs or import duties.

  3. Shipping Timeframes: International shipping timeframes will vary depending on the destination country and the shipping method selected by the customer. Customers should expect longer shipping times for international orders.

  4. Shipping Restrictions: Some countries may have restrictions on the import of certain types of goods, including leather goods. Customers are responsible for verifying that the ordered product can be shipped to their country before placing an order.

  5. Customs and Import Duties: International orders may be subject to customs and import duties, which are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are not included in the purchase price and will be charged separately by the destination country's customs agency.

  6. Shipping Tracking: We provide tracking information for international shipments when available. However, tracking may not be available for all shipping methods or for all destinations.

  7. Shipping Delays: We are not responsible for any shipping delays caused by customs or other factors outside of our control. Customers should allow sufficient time for international shipping and customs processing.

  8. Shipping Address: Customers are responsible for providing a valid and accurate shipping address for international orders. We are not responsible for any delays or delivery issues caused by an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.

  9. Shipping Returns: International orders are subject to our standard return policy, with the additional requirement that the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the product.

Refund policy

At To Cover Leather Goods, we take pride in the quality of our handcrafted leather goods. We strive to ensure that each product we sell meets our high standards of excellence. However, we understand that sometimes things may not work out as planned. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Due to the custom nature or our made to order pieces, these sales are final. Any items with production defects will be repaired or replaced, with valid proof of defect.

Our refund policy on ready to ship pieces lasts 14 working days from receiving your purchase. If 14 days have passed, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

 

Please note that we do not cover shipping costs for returns or exchanges.

Debossing

Debossing leather is the act of compressing leather to leave a recessed impression using moisture, heat or the excessive force of an industrial press.
You have the option to further personalise your piece by adding initials or a name and characters available are Capital letters A-Z, numbers 0-9 and symbols.
